Bowflex Workout Plans

Lose Weight Now Before Summer With These Home Weight Loss Bowflex Workout Plans

Let's face it, we are all very busy people and love to shove 35 hours worth of stuff to do in a 24 hour day. And because of this, usually your workouts get left to the wayside. Or how about that person who feels that he or she are always waiting for that perfect time to start losing weight? I see it all the time.

They wait for the perfect opportunity to start going to the gym. But, the problem is there is no perfect opportunity to get your workout in and to start losing weight. You do what you can with what you have.

And the best part is that you do not need to exercise in a gym to start losing weight!

All you truly need to get a great, fast, calorie burning workout is your own body weight, which leaves you with zero excuses. You can even split up your workout, doing 20 minutes of activity in the morning and 20 minutes of activity at night when you get home.

So what I wanted to do was give you sweet calorie burning Bowflex Workout Plans that you can perform in the privacy of your own home without any equipment.

You are going to perform 2-3 rounds of each group of Bowflex exercises. There are going to be a total of 3 groups of exercises. For each exercise, I want you to time yourself for 30 seconds, then move on to the next exercise within the group.

Group 1:

1. Pushups
2. Body weight squats
3. Planks
4. Vertical jumps

Perform each exercise for 30 seconds and perform all of the exercises in a row. Rest, and then repeat the cycle 1 more time.

Group 2:

1. Burpees
2. Jumping Jacks
3. Run in place

These 3 exercises when performed in a row are very metabolically demanding, that is why I only listed 3. Perform each one for 30 seconds, rest, then repeat the sequence 3 times.

Group 3:

1. Jump lunges
2. Walkouts
3. T-pushups
4. Bicycles

Again, perform each Bowflex Workout Plans exercise for 30 seconds all in a row. Rest, then repeat this sequence 3 more times.

Again, you don't need much equipment to get a great weight loss workout in. All you really need is your body weight and a good exercise plan. If this workout is too easy for you, feel free to keep performing the exercises in a circuit fashion until you can't go anymore.

Best 10 Bowflex Exercises

Depending on the Bowflex machine you have at home you can do a couple of dozen, up to hundreds of different exercises. But you want to choose just a couple of them.

Compound Movements

Compound movements are good to improve overall body appearance, to get in shape, as people say. You stress your body at multiple joints at once.

If you like that goal you should find more about these types of exercises:

Back rows and pulldowns. Can do wonders if done regularly!
Shoulder press. Upright row
Bench press. upright row - for shoulders.
Abs - crunches
Isolation Exercises
Isolation exercises are a way to go for biceps, calves, triceps, Abs.

Chest fly, pull overs.
Pull overs, back fly.
Leg extensions, leg curls.
Biceps curls.
Front raises, side lateral raises.
Standing calf raises.
But it's not that simple. In order to make it work, you need a plan and to stick to it. A realistic goal could be to lose about 20 pounds in 6 weeks, and feel every minute of happiness of the new rhythm of your life. You'll achieve this by working only 20 minutes per day, three times a week. But, you have to work each planned day and really work for those 20 minutes to make it happen. If you do, you'll be awarded by looking another person in the mirror. It sounds easy, and it in fact it is, but 6 weeks is not short and many people give up. o matter how great and motivated you feel now you should plan to bring in some additional motivation.

Bowflex Equipment - All in One Home Gym

Bowflex is the brand name for a line of exercise machines that actually began in the US in about 1986! This line of equipment has been around for a long time and has only gotten better through the years. The unique feature of Bowflex machines are the use of "power rods".

These power rods offer resistance through the entire motion of exercise rather than just at the very beginning or end; which is often the case with traditional free weights or pulleys. Bowflex com Store

Because of this full range of motion that the Bowflex machines offer, the user is able to get a more complete workout in a shorter period of time. So, whether you are looking to do bench press or lat pulls or any number of other workout routines, the Bowflex is one solution that can get it done faster and often more effective if proper techniques are followed.

Of course, the results that you see on the infomercial can only be obtained through a regimented exercise and diet plan. In addition, these results could also be obtained through using free weights or other exercise equipment. So, the Bowflex is not necessarily a must have, but it does offer some advantages over the competition.

The real draw of the Bowflex is not just its resistance system, but also the lack of space that it requires! With free weights, much of your garage or storage space in your house is negated because of the racks and weights and everything else that is required with a traditional exercise equipment system.

However, with the Bowflex equipment it really limits the amount of space that is required to have a complete home gym. In fact, with newer models including the Revolution the space saving is even greater. Nautilus, Inc (parent company of Bowflex) has really worked to created a model that can reduce in size when not in use and expand as needed when you are ready to exercise.

So, overall the current models of Bowflex equipment are a great all around home gym that saves space and gives a complete workout due to resistance bands in a shorter period of time. Of course, you can always come up with your own workout routine or use other equipment to achieve the same results, but the Bowflex certainly offers some advantages that are worth taking a look at.
